Our ROLE as Electrical Engineering Students

The UPRM Solar Boat has been made almost entirely by students. The project provides the opportunity to apply class knowledge to real life applications.

Electrical components are vital to the development of the project. The electrical engineering team is in charge of developing the entire electrical configuration for the boat, including an efficient power system for propulsion, student-built solar panels, specially designed circuit boards to manage energy efficiently, as well as to monitor the boat's power for determining optimal points of operation.
